Murdia Group of Companies was founded by Late. Mr. Pratap Singh Murdia with flagship company Rajasthan Machinery Mart Pvt. Ltd. in 1948. Murdia Group is primarily engaged in trading business, having Distributorship / Dealership of renowned Companies of India whose products are recognized both for Quality & Durability. Mr. Pratap Singh Murdia was actively involved in Social work in the 90’s. He passed away in 2010.

Late. Mr. Dhiraj Murdia, a Gold medalist from IIT Kanpur, took over the business in the early 80’s adding new business lines to the business that was established by his father.  Unfortunatly, he passed away in a road mishap in 1991.

Late. Mrs. Mandakini Murdia, wife of Late Shri. Dhiraj Murdia, undertook the Murdia Group's activities since 1991 under the guidance of Mr. Pratap Singh Murdia. Very soon, She started being counted within  leading lady entrepreneurs of Rajasthan. She was a former President of the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (UCCI) for two successive terms. Unfortunatly, She passed away in Feb 2008. She is still fondly remembered as a strong, bright and charismatic businesswomen.

Mr. Varun Murdia, took over the Murdia Group operations in 2007 and comprises of the present Core Team.
